Women in VR: Highlighting Women in Immersive Technologies
VR Oslo welcomes everybody —men and women— to our event Women in VR. On this day, dedicated to female pioneers, we will hear from executives, scholars, engineers and entrepreneurs, about their latest work in the field of immersive technologies. Among others, IBM, HP, Sennheiser, Sopra Steria and Dimension10 will be presented.
In VR Oslo we know that a broad spectrum of knowledge in an emerging market will yield the best products and solutions. In order to stay competitive, technology companies need a diverse pool of talents with different skills and knowledge. Virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), 360°-video, and immersive technologies are rapidly shaping the way we will interact with digital information. According to IDC and Deloitte’s projections, the VR/AR industry will rocket from $ 9.1 billion in 2017 to nearly $160 billion in 2021.
